The Kurds came under fire from the Turks in Kobani; a difficult situation remains in the camp of Al-Marbuk; “Popular resistance of the eastern regions” attacked the SDF in Rakka. This is reported by a military source of the Federal News Agency (FAN) in Syria, Ahmad Marzouk (Ahmad Marzouq).

Briefly on the outcome of the confrontation

Kurds: Arrested several Arab civilians in Rakka.

International Coalition: continues to inflict airstrikes on the village of Al-Sousse east of the Euphrates.

The armed forces of Turkey: fired at the SDF in the eastern region of Kobani in the north of Aleppo.

“Popular resistance of the eastern regions”: liquidated five Kurds and one representative of the Rozhava in Rakka.

Aleppo Province.

Turkish troops shelled a number of settlements in the east of the so-called Kobani canton, controlled by the “Syrian Democratic Forces”. According to the Kurdish source @AzadiRojava, the villages Kosik and Alisher came under fire. No casualties among civilians are reported.

Recall, Kurdish armed forces holding this territory are recognized by Turkey as an offshoot of the terrorist organization “The Kurdistan Workers Party” and are perceived as a threat to national security. Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly stated that Ankara’s plans to clear the entire border territory of Syria and Iraq from the “National Self-Defense Detachments”.

Province of Deir ez-Zor.

According to a source on Twitter (@SyriawatanNews), international coalition aviation continues to inflict airstrikes near the village of Al-Sousse, where Kurdish armed forces managed to enter the day before.

Recall that the operation of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” to eliminate the so-called Hajinsky pocket on the eastern bank of the Euphrates has been going on for several months. These territories, according to the Kurds, are the last area where the forces of the “Islamic State” are present1. However, the military command of the coalition is trying with all its might to delay the operation, striking residential buildings, mosques and its allies – Kurdish armed groups. During one of the recent US air attacks on a mosque in the village of Al Sousse, more than 60 civilians were killed.

Rakka Province.

Militias from the “People’s Resistance of the Eastern Areas” made another attack on the militants of the “Democratic Forces of Syria”. According to Euphrates Post, the attack occurred on an SDF convoy moving through the capital of the province of Rakka. The militia managed to eliminate five Kurdish militants and one representative of the administration of the so-called Rozhava. Immediately after this, the Kurdish security forces Asayish conducted a series of raids during which several people of Arab nationality were arrested.

Recall that the “Democratic Forces of Syria”, under the pretext of fighting the “Islamic State,” had previously seized large territories of the provinces of Aleppo, Raqqah, Hasak and Deir ez-Zor. This is perceived by the local Arab population as an occupation, which results in a demonstration against the presence of Kurdish armed units and American troops on these lands. Some civilians are forced to take up arms and act against the invaders with a weapon in their hands as part of the militia.

Province of Hasaka.

According to a source on Twitter (@smmsyria), in the camp for displaced persons “Al-Mabrouk”, which is located under the control of the “Democratic Forces of Syria” territory, a difficult humanitarian situation persists. People living in it, went to the rally with the requirements of the “Kurdish authorities” to improve living conditions and eliminate the shortage of food and medicine.
